If you were notified by the Secretary of State that you are eligible to take a basic driver improvement course and you successfully complete a BDIC course, and an approved sponsor provides the certificate of successful completion of that course to the Secretary of State not more than 60 days after the date of your notification, the Secretary of State will not make the points or information from the ticket available to insurance companies.

We are an approved sponsor and will notify the Michigan Department of State electronically right after you successfully complete this course. You do not have to do anything else.
